Traffic jam

Traffic jam means the jam of vehicles on the roads ad streets. Traffic jams have become a daily affair in towns and cities of our country especially in the populous towns and cities. This jam creates a great problem. People who are busy on urgent business miss their timetable. In the morning, for example, many people fail to attend their workplace on time. The busy road of cities like Dhaka and Chittagong get jam packed with all modes of vehicles such as lorries, bus, cars, micros, jeeps, and rickshaws. The transportation of goods gets delayed. Perhaps patients being carried to hospitals or clinics suffer the worst sequence. The mental and physical sufferings, too, are not less important. Rickshaw pullers and baby- taxi drivers, who lives from hand to mouth, undergo a great suffering for the loss of their time. What is a common scene during a traffic jam is frantic moment of the traffic police in clearing the jam. Not vehicles, especially rickshaw is major cause of this nuisance. Whatever be the cause, it is not unsolvable. Above all we do not want to suffer so much. Government and conscientious people should come forward to solve this problem.
