Traffic jam means the jam of vehicles on the roads ad streets. Traffic jams have become a daily affair in towns and cities of our country especially in the populous towns and cities. This jam creates a great problem. People who are busy on urgent business miss their timetable. In the morning, for example, many people fail to attend their workplace on time. The busy road of cities like Dhaka and Chittagong get jam packed with all modes of vehicles such as lorries, bus, cars, micros, jeeps, and rickshaws. The transportation of goods gets delayed. Perhaps patients being carried to hospitals or clinics suffer the worst sequence. The mental and physical sufferings, too, are not less important. Rickshaw pullers and baby- taxi drivers, who lives from hand to mouth, undergo a great suffering for the loss of their time. What is a common scene during a traffic jam is frantic moment of the traffic police in clearing the jam. Not vehicles, especially rickshaw is major cause of this nuisance. Whatever be the cause, it is not unsolvable. Above all we do not want to suffer so much. Government and conscientious people should come forward to solve this problem.

World cup cricket is the greatest occasion of every cricket lover’s life. It comes after every four   years and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth cricket world cup. It was played in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It was Bangladesh`s first time to co hosting a world cup. The world cup was supposed to be co hosted by Pakistan, but in the wake of the 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka National Cricket team in Lahore, the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to strip Pakistan of its hosting rights. On February 18, 2011, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the opening ceremony in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Bangladesh hosted eight world matches while India hosted twenty nine and Sri Lanka twelve. Bangladesh played six matches in group B. by this time they won three matches and were defeated also in three matches. The biggest upset of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 was the defeat of England by     Island. There were some systems which were for the first time introduced in the world cup like umpire direction review system (UDRS) and twenty overs power play. The World Cup final was held in Mumbai between India and Sri Lanka on 2april, 2011. The tournament was won by India who defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final. India become the first nation to win a world cup on home. Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant score of unbeaten 91 in the final and Yuvraj Singh was declared the man of the tournament. In spite of some detached incident, the world cup will be counted as a successful one

The motto of digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e-education, etc. emphasizing the overall development of the country and the nation.  The benefits of digital Bangladesh are many. If we can digital Bangladesh, corruption will be drastically reduced by enhancing transparency and accountability. It will make people think globally and connect them with the whole  world economically, politically, society, academically and even culturally.

It will improve banking and financial activities. Agriculture, health, education commerce-all these sectors will be highly benefited by making Bangladesh a digital one. For implementing this dream of digital Bangladesh, government has to certain initiatives. First of all, uninterrupted power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network infrastructures throughout the country. We also have to train our people to acquire ICT skill and ensure equitable access to digital governance services for all strata of the society. Digital governance will curb crime and corruption and pave the way for our country ‘s rapid development. So, to see our country digital one, government’s commitment and people co-operation are urgently required. Finally our education should be computer based and in primary  and secondary schools should get easy access to the computer.
